Sacrifice

Westerly wind, living thing
Zephyr breeze
Gossamer clouds, escaping rays
Autumn day
Pinched my cheeks, aflush with desire
Myriad red leaves
Phantom flyers
Dance about my feet
So indiscreet
The summer sacrifices.
